Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SoundZone mobile application ("App") operated by Triple Halo LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Who Can Use SoundZone
You must be at least 13 years old to use SoundZone. By using the App you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2. What SoundZone Is
SoundZone is a private voice communication app that allows you to talk with people you choose — friends, family, or colleagues — while listening to music. Voice rooms are private by design. Only people you share a room code with, or who are on your friends list, can join your room. SoundZone is not a public chat platform and is not intended for communication with strangers.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use SoundZone only for lawful purposes. You must not use the App to:
- Harass, threaten, bully, or abuse any other user
- Transmit illegal content of any kind
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately and without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms.
4. Pricing and Subscriptions
SoundZone is currently free during early access. Full access to all features is available at no charge while we grow the product.
We intend to introduce paid subscription plans in the future. When that happens:
- We will notify existing users in advance before any charges begin
- Subscription billing will be handled through Google Play or the Apple App Store depending on your platform
- You will never be charged without explicit opt-in consent
- Cancellation can be managed through your platform's subscription settings at any time
5. Refunds
Since SoundZone is currently free, no refund policy applies at this time. When paid plans are introduced, refunds will be handled according to the policies of Google Play and the Apple App Store respectively. We do not process refunds directly — all billing disputes should be directed to the platform through which you subscribed.
6. Intellectual Property
The SoundZone name, logo, app design, and all related content are the property of Triple Halo LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of any display name or content you provide. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to use that content solely to operate the service.
7. Voice Audio
SoundZone transmits your voice in real time to other participants in the same room. We do not record or store voice audio. You are solely responsible for what you say during a voice session. Do not share sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information in a voice room.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Triple Halo LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the App.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.
We are not responsible for the conduct of other users within the App. SoundZone provides the infrastructure for private communication — we do not monitor, control, or take responsibility for what users say to each other.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no guarantees about the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the service.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
You agree to resolve any disputes with us on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
